NFC News An evening with Krist Novoselic @ The EMP
On June 27, Krist will be speaking at the Experience Music Project museum in Seattle, WA. The event begins at 7 PM in the JBL Theater. He'll be answering questions related to the Seattle music scene as posed by Jacob McMurray, EMP curator. Note that he will also be playing a show with Flipper that same night at The Funhouse, close to the EMP.

More info: "The Oral History Live! series features intimate interviews before a live audience. In June, join us for an evening with Krist Novoselic, the acclaimed rock musician best known as the bassist for Nirvana. In addition to performing with Nirvana, Novoselic currently plays in the band Flipper and has been active in politics, including creating the Joint Artists and Musicians Political Action Committee (JAMPAC). JAMPAC has been active in local politics including fighting the Teen Dance Ordinance, a 1985 law that limited the ability of minors to attend shows. Novoselic published his first book, Of Grunge and Government: Let’s Fix This Broken Democracy, in 2004. The Oral History Live! series is sponsored by Wells Fargo."

The EMP is located at 325 5th Ave. in Seattle, Washington (US). Be sure to mark this day in your calendar if you're in the Seattle area! Info courtesy of The Examiner and the EMP websites.
