On Monday, August 12, 2002, Hyperion Books releases a U.S. trade paperback 
edition of Charles R. Cross' best-selling book, Heavier Than Heaven: A 
Biography of Kurt Cobain ($14.95). Mr. Cross will undertake a tour to promote 
the paperback in August. When possible, the readings will include rare 
never-before-heard Nirvana music. The paperback should be in bookstores by

Based on more than 400 interviews, four years of research, and exclusive 
access to Cobain's unpublished diaries, Heavier Than Heaven traces Cobain's 
life from his early days in a double-wide trailer outside of Aberdeen,
