In Utero, the essential grunge album; Nirvana at Reading
An article about the Sub Pop 20th anniversary in The National lists Nirvana's In Utero as one of the five essential grunge albums. The paper also includes a story about Nirvana's 1991 Reading performance. "Although not an unknown quantity in the UK - the band's 1989 debut album Bleach attracted much critical praise - they carried none of the mystique and myth that history has subsequently ladled upon them.
